“We’ve never met such tender and considerate people” – patients warmly thank PFVMH for their doctor
Today, the president of the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital, Gennadiy Druzenko, received a very warm letter from Luhansk Oblast. The family of Oleksandr and Klavdia Zadorozhnys from Petropavlivka, Stanytsya Luhanska District, express their gratitude to surgeon Iryna Yosypenko, one of the PFVMH’s doctors, who worked at the Petropavlivka Hospital during the PFVMH February mission. Their letter is probably the best illustration of what the PFVMH calls “stitching up the country.”
Thanking greatly the surgeon, Oleksandr Zadorozhny says that, has it been not for the doctor, his wife would not have recovered. “We have never met such tender and considerate people, who take their duties [as seriously as Iryna Yosypenko does],” the letter reads.
Even after the mission completion, Yosypenko continues calling the family from Kyiv, asking about how her patient is doing, according to the letter. “It is just amazing. So touching,” says Oleksandr Zadorozhny.
