PFVMH transfers to war vets flu vaccine donated by Medek
The last lot of flu vaccine complete with disposable syringes and alcohol tissues, donated by the Medek Pharmaceutical Company, was transferred today by the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital to the Ukrainian State Medical & Social Center for War Veterans, which is located in Kyiv Oblast’s village of Tsybli.
The gift, worth over UAH 200,000, namely 1,700 units of vaccine, syringes and tissues each – was delivered to the Center and given to its head physician, Yuriy Hrynenko, by PFVMH Vice President for Logistics Ihor Buyvol.
In late January, same charitable aid was delivered to Luhansk Oblast for the Primary Medical & Sanitary Aid Center in Popasna and the District Territorial Medical Association in Stanytsya Luhanska.
The Ukrainian State Medical & Social Center for War Veterans conducts rehabilitation of participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. It is also the base for a main center for rehabilitation of discharged warriors, which is currently being set up.
