PFVMH surgeon Oleksandr Tkachenko is granted Honored Physician title

On the eve of medical professionals’ day, doctor of the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital Oleksandr Tkachenko was granted the title of Honored Physician of Ukraine, according to Presidential Decree #162/2017. By this decree President Poroshenko awarded a group of health care professionals “for significant personal contribution to development of the Ukrainian health care system, provision of skilled medical aid and high professional mastery.”

It is worth mentioning that Prof. Oleksandr Tkachenko, surgeon at the Odesa Oblast Clinical Hospital, received this award just as a PFVMH doctor.

In August 2016, Tkachenko participated in the 17th mission of the mobile hospital – he worked in the Central District Hospital of Popasna, Luhansk Oblast.
