PFVMH Presented, Volunteer Surgeon Awarded in Smila

Today, in the municipal outpatient clinic for adults of Smila, Cherkasy Oblast, the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital was presented to workers of health care institutions located in the city. PFVMH President Gennadiy Druzenko made a report on the mobile hospital, legal framework for its activities, its achievements, enrolment procedure, and work conditions for volunteer medics.

Taking this opportunity, Druzenko also handed a certificate of acknowledgement and a badge “For Courage and Mercy” to Deputy Head Physician of the Smila Central District Hospital surgeon Vadym Kozlovsky. Vadym has participated in two PFVMH missions in Eastern Ukraine, and his skilled, selfless and generous work in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone has saved lives and health of many Ukrainian soldiers and civilians residing near the front line.
