PFVMH presented in Volyn. The hospital’s veterans receive awards
Yesterday and today, in three cities of Volyn Oblast and one of Rivne Oblast, the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital was presented to the medical staff of local health care institutions. The events were held in the Novovolynsk City Hospital, the Kovel and Volodymyr-Volynsky Central District Hospitals and the Rivne Oblast War Veterans Hospital in Klevan.
PFVMH President Gennadiy Druzenko told about the mobile hospital, its legal framework, its achievements and conditions for volunteer medics to participate and answered questions from the audiences. The events also included awarding of three PFVMH veterans. Serhiy Sivak, doctor at the Volyn Oblast Clinical Hospital’s Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Department and a member of the Volyn Oblast Rada, who organized this presentation tour, received a badge “For Saved Lives.” The same award was handed to the head of the Volyn Oblast War Veterans Hospital’s Surgery Department, Oleksandr Kruhlyak. Today in Klevan, the head of the Rivne Oblast War Veterans Hospital’s Resuscitation, Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Department, Oleksandr Levchuk, received a Defense Ministry medal “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
PFVMH Vice President for Logistics Ihor Buyvol also attended the events, which gathered dozens of medics in each of the institutions.
According to Druzenko, the presentations aroused quite an interest. “We hope that the events will result in at least doubled number of PFVMH volunteer medics from Volyn,” he said.
“We happily present the PFVMH at an invitation of our blood brothers or the administration of medical institutions in any point of Ukraine,” he also added.
