PFVMH: eight years at the front
Eight years ago – on Dec. 15, 2014 – the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital went to the front for the first time.
Since then, hundreds of volunteer medics, thousands of saved lives, and tens of thousands of patients have turned PFVMH into one of the legends of this war.
But the main achievements are still ahead, and PFVMH will find its place in a renewed Ukraine after our victory, believes its co-founder and president Gennadiy Druzenko: “The light of hope emanating from the volunteer medics will break through death, ruins, blood, sweat and dirt brought by the war. PFVMH is an experiment, a laboratory in which new patterns are created.”
