PFVMH at the frontline, on the home front and… , at the science cutting edge
The story “Ukrainian Clinical Cybernetics: Newest Achievements and International Recognition,” published on the site of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, mentions the “unprecedented project” initiated by the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital – the cardiac screening in Podillya last fall.
“The PFVMH is Ukraine’s well known volunteer medical organization, which uses, inter alia, the electrocardiographic technology [conditionally called ‘New electrocardiogram (ECG)’] developed by scientists of the Academy, in particular in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone,” the story reads. “Later, the PFVMH began applying this technology for the screening aimed at detecting diseases in asymptomatic persons… The project implementation discovered important regional specifics in the spread of electrocardiographic signs of cardiovascular diseases… In-depth analysis of the collected data is presently underway.”
