Just another day of WWIII: injured people, a damaged ambulance
Three PFVMH teams worked on the evacuation from Irpin from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. According to the report by only one of the teams, on-the-spot care was provided to a woman with a shrapnel injury to her chest. Three wounded persons were evacuated to the Okhmatdyt hospital in Kyiv: an unconscious priest with head, neck, and lower and upper limb injuries; a woman whose abdomen had been hit by fragments; and a man with a thoracic wound.
One of the ambulances came under fire and was damaged. One of our volunteer medics rushed to the Chernihiv region to rescue his close ones and also was shot at. Thank God, all PFVMH medics are alive.
Just another day of WWIII.
PFVMH has arranged for opening a post for doctors on duty at Lutizh near Kyiv. From now on, an ambulance will be stationed there during the daytime and a team of medics will provide care to locals at the local clinic when there will be no wounded warriors.
