Icons on Ammo Boxes presented at Human Dignity international conference

An exhibition of icons painted on ammunition boxes by Kyivan artists Sofia Atlantova and Oleksandr Klymenko within their joint project with the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital was part of the international conference held in the Kyiv Sophia National Historical and Cultural Reserve on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, 2019.

The conference “Human Dignity: The Socio-Ethical Challenges of the Revolution of Dignity” was organized by the Center for East European and International Studies (ZOiS), the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy,” the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Ukraine, and the Open Orthodox University of Saint Sophia the Wisdom.

Oleksandr Klymenko was one of the speakers at the event. He reported on the art project and activities of the PFVMH as well as presented the exhibition.
