PFVMH evacuates seriously wounded soldier
Today, a medical evacuation team of the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital provided aid to and evacuated a wounded warrior. The case was reported on the MedStar Медевак ПДМШ Facefook page by Oleksandr Hahayev, PFVMH Vice President in charge of liaison with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies.
“One more Defender of Ukraine sustained a serious wound from the enemy today.
“The enemy sniper, implementing the Minsk fuckreements, shot the guy in his head. The 7.62 mm bullet went right through.
“Happily, the injury, though serious, is not fatal. The woumded soldier was stabilized and hospitalized.
“We pray for our Defenders and stand by them!”
Fifteen PFVMH volunteer medics work today in medical evacuation teams of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ four battalions. Last month, the volunteer hospital’s medevac provided medical aid to 124 servicemen and four civilians, including five wounded and five shell-shocked, two times went for evacuation, conducted five operative interventions and five primary surgical wound treatments, as well as carried out preventive examination of 28 warriors.
