Fifths medical “landing party” of PFVMH: half a thousand villagers have made preliminary appointments to see volunteer doctors
The last medical “landing party” of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital has arrived in the village of Hrechyshkyne, Luhansk Oblast, for a two-week profound preventive survey of its residents. The party includes seven key staff members of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital #2 “Burn Center.” According to mission initiator Viktoria Kramarenko, Burn Center deputy chief physician for the nursing staff, half a thousand villager made preliminary appointments pending their arrival.
The team of volunteer doctors also includes two surgeons, a general practitioner, a gynecologist, a functional diagnostician and an endoscopist. The doctors have brought along an endoscope, a gastroscope, a sonograph, a cardiograph, a glucometer and other equipment and materials.
