PDMSh financial report for June 2024
In June 2024, the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital spent nearly UAH 9.7 million, covered by UAH 2.5 million in revenue and UAH 7.1 million from its reserves.
Sadly, hryvnia receipts dropped to one-third of what they had been in May (from UAH 6.5 million to UAH 2.1 million), and foreign currency revenues saw a decrease of over 40%, falling from UAH 747.2 thousand to UAH 428.5 thousand. We appeal to our patrons to be more actively involved in supporting PDMSh—each hryvnia, dollar, euro, or pound contributes significantly to safeguarding our defenders’ and civilians’ lives and health.
The lion’s share of the June expenditures (UAH 9.7 million) was allocated to the construction of the PDMSh Training and Rehabilitation Center (UAH 8.5 million or 88.13%), funded by a project grant. Additionally, the hospital’s partners and donors covered the fuel expenses, so this item does not appear in the June cost breakdown.
Compared to the previous month, the expenditure structure does not include the “Medical equipment and medicines” category, the biggest expense item in May. This became possible due to the successful execution of previous procurement contracts and the availability of adequate reserves for June.
We emphasize our ongoing fundraising efforts for a Weinmann defibrillator complete with accessories, which will enable us to save more lives. We encourage you to contribute to this cause.
PDMSh is continuously fulfilling its mission, thanks to the backing of our partners and benefactors. Your donations and support are invaluable in helping us save lives and provide medical care. We appreciate your support!
